CapuTech Lands Major Integration Project
Houston, July 24, 2009 - CapuTech, Inc., a leading supplier of industrial intelligence solutions, today announced it has entered into a contract with a leading chemicals producer for a major upgrade of its automation infrastructure at its facility in Freeport, TX.
The project involves several components including:
- supply and configuration of a new OPC-based plant historian.
- supply and configuration of web visualization technology for plant graphics, trends, reports and calculations.
- Supply and configuration of CapuTech's Event Log logbook software.
- network architecture design including interfaces with the DCS, PLCs, data recorders and the environmental reporting system.
The scope of the project includes supply of the above at one out of three areas on the plant site. The other two areas are expected to follow during annual shutdowns in 2011 and 2012.
