Thank you for visiting the CapuTech website. I'm certain you will find our site full of useful information regarding our solutions.
Having been an executive at major automation firms, I've gained an appreciation for what matters in this business. I've always felt that by owning my own business I could offer something better. There are three key areas which I feel are critical and these are the cornerstones of CapuTech's business model.
We are proud to offer some of the leading solutions in the automation industry. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Cory Engel
The early days
When we developed CapuWare, we had the following goals in mind:
When we set these goals, we had years of experience building enterprise software and knew that it was our users that needed to solve their problems using our software. We set out to build our first product, CapuWare Event Log, an operator log book. We chose Microsoft SharePoint for the application for it's immense flexibility it provides to users. We extended the functionality with the features our experience taught us an operator log book needed. Our customers thought it was really intuitive.
We believe our job lies not as much in building software from the ground up, but more in figuring out how to make software usable for our customers. CapuWare Reporting is a great example of this. Our customers asked us to build a reporting solution for Event Log. We focused our energy on a reporting tool built from scratch. We were chumps. Our customers told us they were using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and we were back on track. We focused our energy on extending that tool with our expertise in enterprise databases and historians. That software became available to our users and it is a great success.
Our customers' input is always welcomed and we're always interested in how our software can be used to solve a problem.
We take pride in our project teams, their energy and optimism.
