CapuTech Wins Major Contract with Northeast Power Company
Houston, May 24, 2010 - CapuTech, Inc., a leading supplier of industrial intelligence solutions, today announced it has won a major contract with a power generation company based in the Northeast US.
The contract provides for an enterprise license of Event Log covering all 42 merchant and system generating stations. As part of the project, CapuTech has developed a novel custom interface to the client's IBM Cognos reporting system and a link to the equipment hierarchy in the client's SAP maintenance module.
Due to the highly efficient nature of the application, the project is expected to be completed within 8 weeks and includes installation, configuration, training and custom development.
Several suppliers were considered for the project, and CapuTech was chosen above all others for technical superiority, exceptional customer support and overall best Total Cost of Ownership.
Cory Engel, CapuTech's President and CEO commented, "This project represents the largest single deployment of Event Log to date. With well over 1500 users across 42 generating stations, Event Log has proven its value on an enterprise scale. Having been selected as the 'clear choice' after a rigorous evaluation and proof of concept, we look forward to another long term customer relationship."
